If you run a business not involved in the information technology (IT) industry and you would like some software specially written for you then we might be able to help.  It does not matter what size business you run or what you level of understanding of IT, it is fairly straight forward to get a piece of computer software written for you.

What kind of computer software can we write?

The range is quiet large.  We have experience of writing software for companies involved in various industry sectors, such as the steel, defence, retail, electrical equipment industries, however we are happy to write software for you whatever business sector you work in.  We have written software that:

• helps in the production of raw steel
• enables different computer systems to communicate to each other
• monitors helicopters in flight
• controls retail point-of-sale equipment
• helps ensure the security of data on computers
• makes using Microsoft Word easier
• performs complex spreadsheet calculations using Microsoft Excel

and that list is not an exhaustive one.

The software development process

These are the basic stages that you will go through if you have software written for you by any company not just us:

• Explain to us what you would like the software to do for you.  These are your requirements for the software, and it is these requirements that we will ensure the software meets after it has been written.
• We will then design the software.  The nature of the design will depend upon your application and the complexity of the requirements.  For example, a custom Microsoft Excel spreadsheet will be significantly simpler to design than some machine control software.
• Once the software has been designed, the software (computer program) itself is written using the appropriate software development tools.
• The software is then thoroughly tested to ensure it meets the requirements and any problems found will be corrected and re-tested.
• Finally the finished software will be installed on your computer systems and tested again to show you that it meets the requirements.
